I saw Jane Birkin naked today - just to mention!
aujourd'hui j'ai voire le film 'blow up' - a nice strange film of the year 1966 in swinging London. I'd seen it a long time ago, maybe in the seventies, - so today I saw it with other eyes (doesn't mean I had eye transplantation meanwhile) -
they sent 'blow up' with 'featuring Jane Birkin' & another actor in the title line - Jane Birkin didn't play one of the main roles - but she became more famous later on by 'Je t'aime moi non plus' that famous french a bit scandalizing love song by & with Serge Gainsborough (he's dead already) & her - she moans (elle gémis) like in orgasm in that song & was one of the cult songs in the late 60ies & early 70ies, played on every party later on.
A song we also liked to play it on a school party, with teachers present, to see, whether they'd get provoked by that. Hmm - at least they didn't show it. Nowadays teachers would probably laugh at that try, but also of course wouldn't show - but in that time most percents of teachers were much more conservative.
When I saw that film first time I didn't realize Jane Birkin was in it.
In the film she played a crazy 60is fashioned teenage girl tryin' to get a foto shooting date by 'that' famous photographer - in this struggle at least I saw her naked, at least a bit of her ass & tits for a moment.
That wouldn't be important to me at least, - u know - you see a lot of tits & ass in your life - but it was Jane Birkin's naked body, who moaned all the time orgasmatic in our youth parties & that changes the context. Now I know what was behind it - well partly..
I heard Jane Birkin lives still in Paris. I remember Gentry Lane wrote one or two years ago, that she met her there on the street, while walking the dog. That doesn't mean, she met Jane, no she just got attracted by the dog & later on recognized that it was Jane Birkin who walked the dog.
See in her biographie about 'Je t'aime..':
When "Je t'aime moi non plus" was released as a single later that year it caused an absolute scandal. Indeed, Gainsbourg's erotic lyrics and Jane's passionate whispering totally outraged public opinion. The international press attacked the song's "lewd" message, radios banned it from their playlists and the Vatican went so far as to issue a statement condemning the immoral nature of the song. In short, "Je t'aime moi non plus" benefited from a huge amount of free publicity and rocketed straight to the top of the charts, selling around a million copies in the space of just a few months. Needless to say, Gainsbourg and Birkin became the most scandalous couple of the year and their relationship became the subject of intense media scrutiny.

I really can recommend 'Blow up' - not because of Jane Birkin (she's just a nice side-effect) - it's really cult - remember the sixties!
