Who could hang a name on you..

Last night I had another conversation with the Rolling Stones.

Well - it's been a long time (probably about 20 years ago) that I've had a dream including the Stones.

So in this dream they've been just on stage & the show was over I was somewhere in the backstage area & met Mick Jagger & Keith Richards.

Mick was some steps away, but I was sitting there with Keith & I asked him about his favourite songs of the early Stones time - He wanted to tell me his fave five: "Sitting on a Fence" was his first, the second: "Ruby Tuesday" -

While he mentioned 'Ruby Tuesday' - I started to chant this song & he fell in - we both sang some parts Ruby Tuesday & it became really nostalgic.

Later on I suggested 'Rainbow', but I felt that he didn't like that I suggested, what anyway he was about to say. (do you remember the piano play in 'rainbow' or the rolling piano thunder in 'we love you' (just to mention))

I remember that in this dream I was still trying to remember names of old Rolling Stones songs & the next song I remembered was 'Lady Jane' & you see what all these songs have in common? - They all were some of the most soft songs of that time the Stones have ever played.

I woke up before Keith could tell me the other 2 songs of his fave five of that time. - Hmm - I doubt, that this would really be Keith's choice, because this was my dream, not Keiths..

When long ago in my youth time I dreamt sometimes of the Stones - I remember that I had more conversation with Keith than with Mick. - I remember that one of these dreams that far ago I criticized the colour of the cover of their next record. It looked so pale. -

Some time later the real next Rolling Stones record was published & the cover really looked pale. -

Ruby Tuesday (Jagger/Richards)

She would never say where she came from
Yesterday dont matter if its gone
While the sun is bright
Or in the darkest night
No one knows
She comes and goes

Goodbye, ruby tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?
When you change with every new day
Still Im gonna miss you...

Dont question why she needs to be so free
Shell tell you its the only way to be
She just cant be chained
To a life where nothings gained
And nothings lost
At such a cost

Theres no time to lose, I heard her say
Catch your dreams before they slip away
Dying all the time
Lose your dreams
And you will lose your mind.
Aint life unkind?

Goodbye, ruby tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?
When you change with every new day
Still Im gonna miss you...
