Don't let them play their game over you!

Now the world again blames Israel because they attacked Libanon & have entered Palestine. - They're blamed like imperialistic aggressors - but which state wouldn't react like that if it's getting attacked all the time - when the Palestines voted for Hamas who openly supports terror acts, who wants to nihilate Israel, that was an declaration of war - when they week after week shoot a lot of scud rockets into Israel, all the time attack over the boarder, abduct Israeli soldiers - these are actions of war - & of course Israel has to react.

When Israel-hating Iranian-controlled Hezbollah is allowed by the Lebanon government to act freely in their land & gives them shelter - it should be no surprize for them - if Israel also attacks those who breed & feed their enemies.

Israel has no interest in anything like occupying Lebanon. - They've been there before & they left it for peace. - But what should they do if they're getting attacked over & over again from places they can't reach nor control - of course go there & extinguish the source of attack.

I believe it was allright that some western countries attacked talibanistic Afghanistan after 09/11. A country who protects & conveys terrorists has to be isolated or attacked. - It's simple self defence.
(On the other hand I think it wasn't a good idea of America to occupy Iraq - one head of the serpent they have chopped, but now the snake has quickly grown dozens of new heads & the situation is totally out of control)

It seems that the World has a different judgement for Israel & for Palestines (including Hamas, Hizbollah etc.) - they judge Palestanians attacks like childrens acts (who attacks children), but the Israelian responses like adults acts (they should know better) - Never beat a kid - they're only playing - you must understand them. -

Imagine there's some kids in the neighborhood - playing on the streets around you - they insult your own children & wife & begin to throw stones at your children - of course you can't harm those kids - so you go to their parents & tell them to take care of their kid & forbid them to throw stones at your family -

The parents tell you, that they are not responsible "they're only kids, we can't controll them all the time - let them play their games!" - but then you also watch that these parents plant the source of hate to your family in the hearts of their children, & even applausing them for their evil deeds.

& if one of the stones those kids throw at your children hits the head of one your children - wouldn't you just go over there & make the parents responsible?

To this theme there's a song of Bob Dylan - I found recently at an older CD by him from the 70ies (Infidels - highly recommended to buy) - it was about the situation of Israel in the 70ies - nothing much has changed yet..

Neighborhood Bully

Well, the neighborhood bully, he's just one man,
His enemies say he's on their land.
They got him outnumbered about a million to one,
He got no place to escape to, no place to run.
He's the neighborhood bully.

The neighborhood bully just lives to survive,
He's criticized and condemned for being alive.
He's not supposed to fight back, he's supposed to have thick skin,
He's supposed to lay down and die when his door is kicked in.
He's the neighborhood bully.

The neighborhood bully been driven out of every land,
He's wandered the earth an exiled man.
Seen his family scattered, his people hounded and torn,
He's always on trial for just being born.
He's the neighborhood bully.

Well, he knocked out a lynch mob, he was criticized,
Old women condemned him, said he should apologize.
Then he destroyed a bomb factory, nobody was glad.
The bombs were meant for him.
He was supposed to feel bad.
He's the neighborhood bully.

Well, the chances are against it and the odds are slim
That he'll live by the rules that the world makes for him,
'Cause there's a noose at his neck and a gun at his back
And a license to kill him is given out to every maniac.
He's the neighborhood bully.

He got no allies to really speak of.
What he gets he must pay for, he don't get it out of love.
He buys obsolete weapons and he won't be denied
But no one sends flesh and blood to fight by his side.
He's the neighborhood bully.

Well, he's surrounded by pacifists who all want peace,
They pray for it nightly that the bloodshed must cease.
Now, they wouldn't hurt a fly.
To hurt one they would weep.
They lay and they wait for this bully to fall asleep.
He's the neighborhood bully.

Every empire that's enslaved him is gone,
Egypt and Rome, even the great Babylon.
He's made a garden of paradise in the desert sand,
In bed with nobody, under no one's command.
He's the neighborhood bully.

Now his holiest books have been trampled upon,
No contract he signed was worth what it was written on.
He took the crumbs of the world and he turned it into wealth,
Took sickness and disease and he turned it into health.
He's the neighborhood bully.

What's anybody indebted to him for?
Nothin', they say.
He just likes to cause war.
Pride and prejudice and superstition indeed,
They wait for this bully like a dog waits to feed.
He's the neighborhood bully.

What has he done to wear so many scars?
Does he change the course of rivers?
Does he pollute the moon and stars?
Neighborhood bully, standing on the hill,
Running out the clock, time standing still,
Neighborhood bully.

PS: By the way: my father lost as child one eye by stone throwing kids (but he has a perfect looking glass eye) ..
